Ferrite core

What is soft ferrite?

Ferrite cores.

Soft ferrite is a soft magnetic material made mainly of iron oxide and composed of composite oxides such as nickel, zinc, manganese, and copper. Characterized by its extremely high magnetic permeability and extremely low coercive force, it is used as a core material for electronic components such as inductors, transformers, and noise suppression components.
